February 2014 was the date all of this began.

Stuck in a hotel room, miles from home, working at a job I couldn’t make sense of, and wondering where my life was heading– was it my way? Was it some imaginary script? Who was I?

And then a friend sent me a link. She’d started a blog. She was putting the word out there. She wanted support from friends.

I thought this was something I could do. So that February night, a little past midnight, I launched my very first blog. There was no plan. There was no perfect first post. There was no insight or wisdom or knowledge I had to share. There was just me, a girl, looking for something different, some permanence. Something I could call ‘mine’. Something I could control.

Over the last three years defining this space has been an ongoing process. Within the pages are pieces of me, etched from weeks of filling blank pages with words. Funny words. Reflective words. Sad words. Questions within questions. Answers.

Within this pages I have defined me. I have found a meaning to life within shared stories, experiences, culture and the counsel of the community I’ve built here. And even though within the last year I have considered expanding my wings and delving into other interests, I know that this space right here will always remain at the heart of it all.

I only hope that however you have stumbled upon this page you also find meaning within the letters from one girl as she found within herself.

Welcome  🙂

  1. It’s amazing how just getting word out can help you on your journey. I’ve felt much of the same way as you.

Blessing to you on this journey.

    1. Thank you 🙂 2018 was a learning process. 2019 has been a blast :).

The desire to connect, to tell my story and to document my learning/growth process. Coming back to read this blog in recent times has helped me through some of the most difficult experiences.
